Revised dates: Sheep section

Due to the national election on Wednesday 29 May, the Royal Agricultural Exhibition has been moved forward by one day and will now take place from THURSDAY 23 MAY to TUESDAY 28 MAY 2024.

The dates for the sheep competitions have been revised and updated accordingly.

The sheep competitions will begin on Friday 24 May with the Ile de France and Suffolk Regional Championships, followed by the Fat Lamb competition on Saturday 25 May and the Dorper Regional Championship.

The sheep section will be hosting two national championships: the Dormer National Championship on Sunday 26 May, and the Hampshire Down National Championship on Monday 27 May.

Monday 27 May also sees the prestigious Royal Carcass Competition and Auction take place in the afternoon.

The sheep programme comes to a close with the Interbreed competition on the morning of Tuesday 28 May, and the entire livestock programme culminates in the Gold Cup Parade and Awards during the afternoon.

We're looking forward to welcoming another top-class entry this year! To finalise your entries, please contact Emmie Barnard at 082 770 7998, by 1 April.
