2024 Ile de France Regional Championships

The 2024 Royal Agricultural Exhibition in Pietermaritzburg will proudly host the Ile de France Regional Championship on Saturday 25 May 2024. This event will be judged by senior judge Clark Rattray, with Jonathan Tyler assisting as junior judge.

As with last year’s championships, the Royal Agricultural Society plans to livestream this event to its Facebook page and its X account.

Awards will be presented to the winners of the Slaughter Lamb Competition on Tuesday 28 May, just prior to the much-anticipated Royal Carcass Auction.

The Interbreed Competition will take place on the morning of Wednesday 29 May 2024, followed by the prestigious Gold Cup Awards during the afternoon.

Entries for the Ile de France Regional Championship will close on 29 February 2024. To ensure your place, please WhatsApp Emmie Barnard from the RAS at 082 770 7998.

The Royal Agricultural Exhibition will run from Friday 24 May to Wednesday 29 May 2024 at the Royal Showgrounds in Pietermaritzburg. The new format of the Exhibition will focus exclusively on livestock competitions and associated exhibits, to provide a much-improved experience for breeders and farmers.
