KZN Brahman Club schedule

The KZN Brahman Club has finalised its programme for the Brahman competitions at the Royal Agricultural Exhibition in May, and are pleased to announce that the judges on the day will be Heinrich Bruwer, Rowland Munger and Dewalt van der Merwe.

Thursday 23 May and Friday 24 May will see the arrival of the cattle, and weighing and measuring will take place over the rest of the weekend.

On Monday 23 May, judging for the Brahman group classes and females (both halter and non halter-trained) will commence. Judging of the first bull classes will follow on immediately.

The balance of the bull classes (again both halter and non halter-trained) will continue on the morning of Tuesday 28 May, until 11am, after which the Interbreed competition will begin. The Gold Cup Parade and Awards will take place late afternoon on the same day.

Cattle will depart on Wednesday 29 May.

The KZN Brahman Club is looking forward to another excellent Brahman showing, and to flying the Brahman flag high once more.

If you want to truly understand what the Brahman breed can do for your cattle operation, KZN Brahman Club members will be available at the Brahman Clubhouse on the Cattle Arena.

For entries and enquiries, please contact Ting Braithwaite at 082 809 6338.

Those interested in the non halter-trained Brahman competition are encouraged to contact Lood van Rensburg at 083 459 3291.
